Les jours suivants, m'ouvrant petit à petit à la métaphysique (je n'y étais pas vraiment préparé mais, pas allergique non plus), c'est par la suite un dessin, ou plutôt des schémas qui devaient résumer cette illustration, schémas qui me servirent, et me servent toujours, de plan, de canevas, à tous mes raisonnements, pour quelques contacts, quelques types de conférences miniatures avec des amis. Il me fallut plusieurs jours pour voir et faire coïncider les informations dévoilées par ce songe avec l'apport de mes années d'existence et d'analyses les plus élémentaires, basiques, du monde humain. C'est donc les conclusions de ces coïncidences que je vous soumets espérant qu'elles vous paraîtront d'un certain intérêt.

À PROPOS DE L'AUTEUR

Né sous X à Paris en 1941, Jean Simon Dallière n'eut de cesse de rechercher, en vain, ses géniteurs. Psychanalyste de profession, et de nature autodidacte, il s’embarque comme pilotin dans la marine marchande dès l'âge de dix-huit ans.
Il entreprend un retour définitif en France en 1992 en région parisienne et commence l’écriture de plusieurs ouvrages dont un, sur la Pyramide de Khéops.
Jean Dallière s'installe définitivement sur l'île de Ré en 1998 où il poursuit ses contacts psy et ses travaux d'écriture.

• A well written and timely analysis of two important health issues of the day the opioid crisis and cannabis revolution.
  Thanks to Dr. Blesching for writing this in the spirit of self empowerment.
• I very rarely give 5 star reviews to any book, and while this book might not be the perfect book in the literal sense, it is so needed in today's day and age that I had to give it five stars. The information is invaluable. Books like these is why I think all states should legalize commercial sales of marijuana. In Florida it's legal for medical purposes but doctor's fees are an arm and a leg and I don't know of a single insurance that will cover it and prices are ridiculous. If it were available commercially (for recreation) people would be able to manage their own pain without having to turn to drugs like oxycodone.
  
  I was first prescribed oxycodone over a decade ago, after I was trampled by a horse I was training. I had severe soft tissue damage and a leg that was broken in half and needed surgery with a plate and pins. That was my first encounter with this medication. About two years later I developed severe arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and ankylosing spondylitis. My doctors' answers were to put me on oxycodone long term. Again, about a decade ago. At this time I was living in the Chicago area where it was never a problem filling my scripts, but I was experiencing side effects. I was emotionally numb. My sex drive had gone away completely. I didn't feel much pain but I didn't feel much of anything. As time went on doses increased. I moved to Florida where a doctor decided to put me on Fentanyl instead of oxycodone. Then I changed doctors because I didn't like his staff and that doctor decided buprenorphine which did absolutely nothing for my pain but gave me bad side effects. The genius doctors then decided to put me on oxyodone again with dilauded for breakthrough pain. At this point I was taking 180 mg of oxycodone a day plus dilauded for breakthrough pain. Mind you, I was told I would never become addicted to oxycodone if I took it as prescribed. I pointed this out when I had gone two days without my medications and got very sick and my doctor said I wasn't addicted. I was opiate dependent. Sorry, to me it's all the same thing. If I can't take a medication and not take it for a couple of days without experiencing hellish withdrawals, I fell that's addiction and I wanted nothing to do with it. I told him to wean me off. He refused. I finally found a wonderful doctor who was willing to help wean me off of the opiates. It took a year, and it was hell, but today I don't take any type of opiate medication at all. I WISH I had this book when I was going through that. It would have saved me a lot of pain and suffering. The good news is that this book helped me realize I don't have to suffer and live in pain just because I don't want to be on opiates. Marijuana is a good alternative. The book was so informative and factual in an easy to understand manner, I am actually making an appointment to get the medical card since I have a number of conditions that qualify me for it.
  
  If you're addicted to opiates, know anyone who is, need pain relief and don't want that horrid addiction or the side effects, I'd recommend this book to anyone. It is so informative and helpful and helps you truly understand the nature of what is going on, why it is happening, and what you can do about it. I applaud the author for taking on the challenge of this book. Very well done.
• First of all I have to commend the author for doing an excellent job of engaging the reader. The research was done and the book thoroughly details the points to argue a very challenging topic. Opioid Addiction is a huge problem and while there have been many suggestions to reduce the problem, there really hasn't been a suggestion that dramatically reduces the problem. This book falls into that category also. The most common suggestion seems to always fall on another medication, drug, or "coping skill." Methadone has helped some. Suboxone has been somewhat effective. Vivitrol and Naltrexone seems to be helping. Non addictive or less addictive substances have had minimal success for pain and may have even resulted in people finding new medications to abuse. This book really didn't convince me that Cannabis would be any more effective than any of the other suggestions so far. Frankly, we look for a quick fix and never really get to the root of the problem. We continue to feed the addictive mentality by seeking the fix in another substance. We need to move away from substances and find out what is driving the mentality to have a substance to fix our uncomfortable feelings. I am not criticizing this authors work because I felt this book was very well written and thought provoking. In fact, I highly recommend everyone get this book and read it simply to think outside of the box.

• I found this book to be a detailed overview on the topic of opioid addiction. It features chapters on the history of the opioid crisis, the science of opioids, cannabis and pain, contrasting cannabis and opioids in pain management, opioid withdrawal, the endocannabinoid system, determining vulnerabilities to addiction and developing one's defenses, and rethinking the idea of euphoria being a side effect. Despite being brief (only about two hundred pages), I found this book to be informative, and with a scientific/academic tone to it. There's a long bibliography featured at the end, so it's also clear that it's been well-researched. Opioid abuse is a popular problem that has been covered in depth by the mass media for a while now, without being fully explained. This book was rather good in shining a light on it.

• I love this little series set on Madison Avenue.
  A sexy quick read.
  Be sure to Just Swipe Yes.
  You wont be disappointed.
• 4.5 stars really. At only about 6% into the story I was kind of hooked because Eliza reminded me of myself with her collection of pug figurines, although mine would be dachshund figurines. I loved the characters having dogs, and how that brought them together accidentally, before they got connected through the dating app. So much about the whole experience with the dating app was spot on to the thoughts and things I would worry about with any type of dating using that method. Do you only date one person at a time? Or is it okay to keep your app going while you date one person, since you don't know if it is going to be a match, and that is how you met anyway, right? And if you do keep it open, how much do you talk to another person, or seek out other people to talk to? Does that count as cheating? I loved the connection that Eliza and Murphy had, and I was totally telling Eliza to come clean about things like what article she wrote, and the book she was working on, in order to keep from things blowing up later. All the things you expect to go wrong in a romance.
  
  In the end, I feel this was such a realistic story. While I'm not exactly sure of the motives of the other guy that Eliza was dating, his end bit was really crazy, I like how Murphy handled his ultimatum. It was needed. I hate how Eliza dealt with it at first, but I totally understand her choosing what she did. The ending was perfect, I loved the story. Definitely want to read more by this author now, as well as more in this series.
• Eliza has a comfortable life. A good job as an advice columnist under a pseudonym for a NY magazine and a nice apartment in 425 Madison that she shares with her sister, she doesn't feel the need to complicate things by dating. Unfortunately, her sister thinks she should get out there and puts her on a dating app. Eliza decides to give it a whirl and use the experience to write a book about dating in the digital age. Then she meets a mountain of a man with the charm of a teddy bear in the elevator. After that, she keeps seeing him everywhere. Is fate trying to tell her something?
  
  I have read the previous two books in the 425 Madison series and frankly, Just Swipe Right is just as fun and adorable as I found them! Eliza is a modern girl and has a way of giving advice that is direct and addicting, I wish it was a real column! Murphy is absolutely adorable and I want him for myself. The evolution of their relationship was fantastic and I had so much fun with these characters. This was the first book I have read by Allie York but it definitely won't be the last! Five stars for Just Swipe Right!
• I have to say it again; I love the playlists at the beginning of all the books in the 425 Madison series. The playlists really do set the moods for the books, and the playlist for Just Swipe Right was great.
  
  Eliza is a 24 year old advice column writer for a local magazine. Her sister Piper, whom she shares an apartment with at 425 Madison, signs Eliza up for a dating app call Match Me. Eliza agrees to try the app out for a week and promises to swipe right and go out a few times with her matches. Eliza is looking at dating with the app as a challenge, and to use it for research for a book on the adventures of online dating.
  
  Murphy is a 28 year old head chef, and Alabama transplant living in New York with his best friend Derek, who convinces him to sign up for Match Me. Derek tells Murphy to look at it as a hook up app, but Murphy doesn't like the idea of multiple random hook ups, he's a commitment guy. he finally decides whats the harm of in just looking at what New York has to offer.
  
  Eliza and Murphy don't meet through the app, but by accident. Murphy is on his way to pick up his first match Me date at 425 Madison when he meets Eliza coming back from walking her dog. They flirt a bit, introduce themselves, then go their own separate ways. They meet later again that same night a couple more times. First while they are leaving 425 Madison Murphy with his pushy feely date, and Eliza on her way to meet her first date, then on their way home after their first dates. They flirt some more as Murphy walks Eliza home, and they coincidentally meet a few more times before being matched on the app. Once matched on the app they officially start dating, even though they are both seeing another person. Eliza isn't looking for serious, while Murphy isn't happy seeing two people at once. After a month or so of dating Murphy is ready to settle down and be with Eliza, and asks her to decide between him and the other guy she is dating.
  
  Just Swipe Right had a HEA, and was a sweet romance, but didn't have any of the hot steamy action as the first two books in the 425 Madison series. I wish Eliza and Murphy would have decided to be with each other sooner, so we could have had more of their love story together. I am not a huge fan of stories with characters dating multiple people, but I enjoyed this book.

• I have long been a bit fascinated by Gov. Christie and his ‘in your face, shock and awe’ approach to politics. In my mind, it’s based on the Rush Limbaugh philosophy. Of course, I abhor pundits and politicians who use this tactic, because it, ultimately, crowds out other ideas and tends to weaken democracy.
  
  So, my hope was to glean an understanding of Christie, Donald Trump, and the dynamics of Trump’s inner circle. Did I succeed?
  
  Yes, to a greater extent than I probably should have. Indeed, I have grown disappointed at just how similar Trump’s team is to that displayed on the old TV soap opera, Dallas. But that gets ahead of this review...
  
  BLUSH FACTOR Although the number of eff-words is not large, they are present, so consider your own circumstances before purchasing this. For me, it did not detract. Nor do I think anybody should refuse to buy this book for the cussing.
  
  WRITING & EDITING Co-writer Ellis Henican has done a terrific job of polishing up what must have been a dynamic tirade.
  
  Possibly, the most telling passage comes in the discussion of Gov. Christie’s appointment to chair the transition. We get a little insight into Trump’s mind, but we get a keener insight into Jared Kushner and, possibly, into precisely what threatens to derail the Trump Presidency.
  
  DISAPPOINTMENTS Christie does give us some frank assessment of Donald Trump, but with nowhere near the degree of frankness for which The former governor was famed. Mind you, we should not be surprised, for he remains a Trump loyalist. Still, I had hoped that he would use his shock and awe to rattle Donald Trump in a sort of shock treatment, before the Administration implodes upon itself.
  
  BOTTOM LINE
  
  Far more interesting read than recent books by Ms Clinton, so I definitely recommend it. But, don’t expect a great deal of sizzle. Get the Whispersync Audible Edition, read bt Christie himself.
  
  Four stars out of five.
• A total waste of time. Its basically Christie saying "look at me, look at how great I am." Its a self serving, self congratulatory, pat on his own back full of nonsense.
  
  It makes you realize how much like Trump he really is. A bully, a braggart, someone who thought only he could fix it when it came to NJ. After reading this all I can think is this is his lead up to another run.
• To me it’s a great compliment when someone tells me that I write like I talk… and I talk like I write. That is definitely the compliment I am giving Chris Christie. His straight from the heart storytelling of his life… is just like listening to him talk on a TV program. He shares with the reader his toughness… as well as his inner soul. From the love of his parents and family… to the hard times he had in his early marriage… pride intertwined with disappointment in how his high school baseball career wound up… to being a U.S. Attorney… hell bent on cleaning up the government in New Jersey… where in a seven year period his office would charge nearly ten percent of their state legislature.
  
  His story will grab you right from the get-go… starting off with a mano-a-mano confrontation with Trump “campaign CEO”… Steve Bannon. (Actually it couldn’t have been mano-a-mano… because each “mano” needs a spine and integrity… and only one of them… Christie… fit those requirements.) When Bannon was firing Christie from the campaign despite Christie’s heavy involvement and direction… including but not limited to… being the first major political figure to endorse candidate Trump. From there the author goes back to his childhood… his upbringing his education… his early jobs… and his almost lifetime love of politics which was originally nurtured by his Grandmother… his rise through the many branches of government… including his two terms as New Jersey Governor… and his run for President.
  
  All the names that are constantly on the news every day of our lives now… from the big to the small… and the ones we wished would disappear… from Clinton to Rubio to Conway to Manafort… to Bush(s)… to Sessions to Obama(s)… all the cabinet members… and opponents. Christie's’ wild ride includes an almost choice as Vice Presidential candidate… and consideration for Attorney General…
  
  If that isn’t enough… there is Springsteen and “SHAQ”... and a Hurricane created by Mother Nature… named Sandy… and the human hurricane named Christie… described as only Chris Christie is capable of doing! I don’t care what side of the aisle you sit on… this is a book that almost turns its own pages… once you open it up.
• I have always been on the fence about Christie and in this book he won me over a bit more. I admire the work he did as US attorney and I do think he is smart. I think he is being conned by Trump and still doesn’t see him for what he is. One thing I do agree with, he spent a lot of time and effort on the transition, and all of it went into the trash. This was due to Kushner and the axe he has to grind with his father’s arrest and conviction. I also agree that Trump filled his cabinet with grifters, and crooks, look, most are now indicted, or have plead guilty. Christie does take a lot of time in the book patting himself on the back, which I am sure many of us would do. Come on, he had the lowest rating of any governor ever when he left, he couldn’t have done that without screwing up.
• A straight talker, articulate, interesting even when infuriating to many. But this book is a total bore. Nothing new. A puff piece, written in a non-controversial way, so that, if he runs for office, or faces senate hearings, he hasn't insulted anybody. Sadly, Governor, you apparently ARE finished.
